IRCC has just announced a series of the latest Express Entry draws on two consecutive days, November 11 and 12, 2025. Although the CRS scores are still hitting the 700-800 mark, overall, the Canadian immigration landscape remains extremely attractive.

With the shift to Category-based Draws. This creates a huge competitive advantage for eligible profiles:

1. French is the 'Golden Key': The French proficiency draws have extremely low CRS scores, only at 416 – 432. This is currently the most feasible immigration pathway.

2. Priority in Shortage Occupations: Sectors such as Health & Social Services (CRS 472) and Trades (CRS 505) indicate that Canada's actual demand is being given top priority, opening up opportunities for workers with specific skills.

3. CEC: The Canadian Experience Class (CEC) maintains a stable score around 533 – 534, reaffirming that Canada still prioritizes those who already have work experience in the country.

4. PNP – Provincial Nominee Program: PNP draws always have extremely high CRS scores (738 – 855), but this is because 600 fixed points were added from a provincial nomination. This confirms that PNP is a program suitable for securing an Invitation to Apply (ITA) if you meet the specific requirements of a province.

The EE program is no longer just a pure points race. Canada is still committed to attracting talent, but requires applicants to have a clear strategy:

• Strengthen French to take advantage of low scores.

• Pursue PNP (Provincial Nominee Program) to secure ITA.

• Focus on developing skills in priority sectors.
