CANADA ISSUES 249 INVITATIONS TO APPLY (ITA) – EXPRESS ENTRY FOR CANDIDATES IN THE PROVINCIAL NOMINEE PROGRAM

On September 2, 2025, the Canadian Immigration Department held a new invitation round in the Express Entry program, issuing 249 Invitations to Apply (ITA) to candidates under the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). The minimum score required under the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) is 772, a decrease of 28 points from the previous PNP invitation round on August 18. This is the 33rd invitation round of 2025 and the 363rd invitation round since the Express Entry program was launched.

With this invitation round, the total number of ITAs issued in 2025 has reached 56,069, compared to 98,903 ITAs issued in 2024. Candidates have 60 days to apply for permanent residence, and typically, the processing will be completed within 6 months.
